Gisteren het advies van Vlietmansje gekregen om naar de site van Tony Jackson te gaan.
PDF documenten werden echter niet geladen.
Tony het volgende mailtje gestuurd :

Hi Tony,

Fantastic site….......... when it works
It seems dat all links give the following message :

Not Found
The requested URL /ds-files/tony-jackson/green-cd/518.pdf was not found on this server.
Apache Server at http://www.agua.nu Port 80

Is there something wrong??

Dit is het antwoord wat ik van Tony kreeg :

Hi Rob,

I’m afraid there is.  Some one or some thing has been downloading at the rate of 150 GB per month, and this has caused the site to shut down.  We are trying to find a solution which will prevent this happening but not inconvenience normal users any more than need be.  My ISP was able to give me the IP address of a site which made 768 hits on my other site in 24 hours last week, so if this information can be got then limiting users to a few ‘hits’ per day may be the answer - if you know anything about this sort of thing I’m ready to listen!

Als er dus onder ons mensen zijn die Tony kunnen helpen, stuur hem even een mailtje aub (.(JavaScript moet ingeschakeld zijn om dit e-mail adres te bekijken)) Is voor ons allen toch errug handig nietwaar.
