Hello, I am a c6 car owner from Chinese Mainland. At present, there are about 60 c6 car owners in Chinese Mainland. However, due to the age of the car, the dashboard has been black in succession. We have found electronic repair shops in different provinces of China, but their durability is not very good. I foundGarage Johan Oldenhage post on the Netherlands c6 forum and wanted to ask about maintenance suggestions, orPreviously, I sent an email according to the email provided on the store’s website. However, after replying to only one email, there was no further response. I hope the store owner can browse this post and inform whether they accept repair requests from China. Thank you and good wishes! Also, how much is the approximate repair cost in euros? What are the main payment acceptance methods? Does it support Alipay International or WeChat Payment International? Looking forward to your reply. The attachment contains our C6 photos, all of which are 3.0 v6 gasoline versions in China.
Hi, great to hear from China and congratulations for keeping the original C6 on the road.
I am under the impression Oldenhage is not very keen on repairing these any more, but I am sure he will respond for himself if needed. The owner of Oldenhage is on this forum.
There are a small number of French companies that still repair the C6 main dashboard, or supply the repair parts.
Like this parts supplier: https://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/165785116726
The majority of C6’s was sold in France, a good reasons also to look in France for C6 issues and repairs, although I can understand the language might be challenging.
As you mentioned you have electronic repair shops it might be worthwhile to give them some direction on repairing those:
In general the “black screen” affects 3 parts ( sometimes only one of these fail).
When I had my first black screen, the screen came back after 1 hour cooling off. ( I was lucky, and I could turn-off the car minutes after it went black). I looked at taking the part from my 2nd C6 ( parts car…) which had more mileage but was 3 years younger, ie produced februari 2008 ) ) and I discovered Citroen, or actually Borg the company had added 2 cooling wings, or heatsinks on 2 of the IC’s on the later model.
So I added some makeshift heatsinks on my screen, and it kept working for some 150.000 km’s until I parked the car for spare part purposes.
I once helped a person with the early version of the dashboard putting the heatsinks on his repaired part and it never failed again. ( I can’t repair them don’t have the SMD tools).
I haven’t heard on failures of the later model dashboards.
Attached some picture of the makeshift mod. Hope this can help you. These are from the Diesel versions.

Thank you very much for your kind reply! I’m going to add heat sinks according to the repair method you provided and see how it works. Thank you again for your attention. We also welcome you to visit China when you have the opportunity. c6 car enthusiasts are distributed in major cities across China. We will be very glad to pick you up in a c6 for your trip.

Today, following your suggestion, I installed heat sinks above the two 915055 chips. The highest temperature in summer in my area is generally between 32 and 38 degrees Celsius. If parking outdoors, the temperature inside the car can easily reach 45 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Hello! Thank you for your attention. Currently, there are approximately 50 to 60 C6s still in normal operation in China. The number of C6s is larger in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Chongqing. However, in the provinces across the country, from east to west and from north to south, there are almost all C6s, and perhaps there is only one in each province. China has a relatively large land area. For instance, it spans approximately 5,200 kilometers from east to west and about 5,400 kilometers from north to south.
